There appears to be a pattern this year .... Sunday long run, cancelled due to ill health/injury.
Last weeks 10M at Bramley was OK, new PB and leg only niggled when the hills arrived. 2 days of slight tenderness (no limping!) and 2 days of ice/cold/snow meant I didn't run until this Friday's club run.
3.3m of mainly hills (Ashby doesn't do flat) at a slower pace than Bramley and yesterday the leg hurt more than after Bramley. Also my foot on the same leg is sore, feels like I've stood on something hard and sharp.
Tomorrow I will call the doctors and get a referral to the physio.
FLM is now a walk/run/get round and have fun event.
Tad down about this all - especially as I have the Reading Half next weekend and the Ashby 20 the week after. I may ask if I can start that early so as to not keep the marshalls out for too long!
Anyway must pop off to Tesco for the bits I forgot to buy yesterday!!
